To be clear. A blockchain at the core is not iso 20022 compliant unless it is written that way. But don't be sad if the Electra Protocol blockchain is not compliant. It does not even matter at all.
Where the real power comes from is that any project can build their application, which is compliant with iso 20022, right on top of the Electra Protocol blockchain in form of smartcontracts. The beautiful thing about this is that the native coin XEP in that case will be given great utility because it is used to pay the gass fee. And the gass are burned!
